  1.        APRCalc 2.2 - A Windows Shareware Utility

  3. Thanks for trying APRCalc!  Please read this brief message
  4. before the program is installed for you.
  5.  
  6. APRCalc is a generic loan and amortization calculator,
  7. and one that allows the user to investigate various
  8. scenarios quickly.
  9.  
  10. The four variables in an APR loan are the Amount
  11. Financed, the Term, the APR, and the Payment; setting
  12. any three of these determines the fourth.  Typically,
  13. the user enters a value for each of the three known
  14. variables, and then clicks the button next to the field
  15. to be calculated.
  16.  
  17. APRCalc also automatically (and very rapidly) amortizes
  18. loans, and provides the ability to print or export it.
  19. Prepayments to principal can be entered for any payments,
  20. and the effect on the amortization observed.  You can also
  21. determine how much in prepayments is necessary to reduce
  22. a loan to a given number of payments.  Support for ARMs
  23. (Adjustable Rate Mortgages) is also provided.  Breakeven
  24. date analysis for discount points is available.

  26. Also, yearly, quarterly, monthly, biweekly, and weekly
  27. payment periods are supported; individual loan scenarios
  28. can be saved in files; and an extensive Windows Help
  29. system is provided.

  31. APRCalc is not free software.  It is shareware, which means
  32. you are expected to pay to register the program if you
  33. continue to use it.  Your payment will encourage me to
  34. write more Windows programs and improve existing ones.
